Disable SIP ALG on Hitron routers

Disable SIP ALG on Hitron routers

You can call your provider such as Rogers and request they "Disable SIP ALGs". They can do it remotely.

OR

Login into your router
  1. Open your browser such as Chrome or Firefox, and enter the address 192.168.1.1
  2. When requested, enter your password. 
  3. Default username and password -
    username: cusadmin
    password: password or [your wifi password]

  4. Click on the Basic tab
  5. Click on Gateway Function
  6. Disable SIP ALG
  7. Click on Save Changes
  8. Reboot your router
